Hours:

42.5 hours per week, 8.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with Saturday work on a rota basis.

Job Requirements:

We are seeking a HGV Driver responsible for timely vehicle delivery and collection from our Stevenage site, including visits to vehicles away from the workshop. The role demands high standards, confident personal presentation, good local road knowledge, and a positive attitude. Responsibilities include vehicle checks, preparation for resale, parking, communication with the office, and assisting in the workshop and yard.

Ideal candidates will have basic mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and confidence in driving various vehicle types. Requirements include a full HGV license, driver’s card, current CPC certification, and good spoken English.

Key Tasks:

• Ensure vehicles are checked before delivery.
• Complete paperwork and take photos to confirm vehicle condition.
• Coordinate delivery times and locations with clients.
• Return vehicles to the workshop or as agreed.
• Assist in workshop and yard duties as qualified.

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Valid HGV license and experience.
• Current DIGI card and CPC certification.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent sense of direction.
• Clean driving license.
