Job summary

NWF Agriculture are growing our driver population and are seeking a driver based out of our Umberleigh site to deliver ruminant feed and raw materials across the region. The role is on a flexible contract to support peak trading periods.

Weekly pay is £18.72 per hour with flexible hours to cover peak trading periods and progression opportunities across the wider NWF Group. Training opportunities and employee benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• A valid category C&E license
• Current CPC and tachograph card
• Previous experience in a HGV driving role
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift - complying with all HGV driving rules.
• Ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods across, carrying out multi-drop deliveries to both commercial and farm addresses.

Manoeuvring trucks into loading and unloading positions, ensuring loads are secured, provide support in the yard including handball or pump truck deliveries where required.

The role is offered on a flexible contract to support the team during peak trading periods.

Day to Day

• Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift -complying with all HGV driving rules throughout your shift to ensure there is no unnecessary damage to vehicles
• Ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods across, carrying out multi-drop deliveries to both commercial and farm addresses.
