Job summary

NWF Agriculture is seeking a driver based at the Umberleigh site to deliver ruminant animal feed and raw materials across the region. You will perform multi-drop deliveries, ensure loads are secured, and assist in yard operations as needed.

The role offers weekly pay, overtime at 1.25x, and progression opportunities across the NWF Group, with funded training, pension, life assurance, and other employee benefits. 33 days holiday and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• A valid Category C&E driving license.
• Current CPC and tachograph card.
• Previous experience in a HGV driving role.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle checks at start and end of each shift and comply with HGV rules.
• Ensure safe, prompt delivery of goods with multi-drop runs to farms and commercial addresses.
• Assist in yard when required and help with loading/unloading activities.

Day to Day

• Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift –complying with all HGV driving rules throughout your shift to ensure there is no unnecessary damage to vehicles
• Ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods across, carrying out multi-drop deliveries to both commercial and farm addresses.
• Manoeuvring trucks into loading and unloading positions, ensuring loads are secured, provide support in the yard including handball or pump truck deliveries whererequired
