Job summary

Adler & Allan is seeking a HGV Driver (ADR or non-ADR) to operate from our Airdrie depot, joining a small team servicing major oil clients and forecourt projects across the UK.

You will perform site tankering, jetting and drainage tasks, complete paperwork, liaise with customers on site, maintain vehicles and equipment, and support long-term service improvements. This is a permanent, full-time role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• HGV driving licence required; ADR/Non-ADR training available if needed.
• Full training provided for drainage and site works.
• Ability to work as part of a small team across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate as part of a one/two person team for tankering, jetting and drainage tasks.
• Complete paperwork and submit to supervision in a timely manner.
• Liaise with customers on site and identify long-term service improvements.
• Maintain vehicle, equipment, tools and PPE in good order and report any damage.

HGV Driver (ADR or non-ADR)

Locations: Airdrie. Contract: Permanent, full-time. Salary: Competitive salary plus benefits.

Operating from one of our Airdrie depot, you will be required to operate as part of a team, working alongside other Engineers, fulfilling works for major oil companies and independent customers in the Forecourt Services division. You will be required to contribute to ensuring systems are working correctly and identifying root causes and provide customers with long term solution.

More about the role:

• Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform and deliver site tankering works, which will include jetting and drain cleaning works, interceptor cleaning and servicing and reactive works on petrol filling stations, distribution centres and at large scale drainage infrastructure locations.
• Carry out Near miss & potential incident reporting. In-house training will be provided.
• Liaison with customers on site to discuss on-going works and further services of the Company.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure all equipment, tools, PPE and other work items are in good order and repair and available for use at all times. You will be expected to inform supervision as soon as any damage is identified.
• Completion of all works paperwork and submission in a timely manner to divisional supervision.
• Liaison with supervision regarding all works and recommending improvements of possible opportunities.
• Any other duties for which you are qualified for and capable of undertaking.

Qualifications

We have multiple positions within our organisation around the UK. Drainage experience isn't required as full training will be given.
