Job summary

Notion4 Ltd is seeking an HGV Drainage Engineer to join our Remedials team. You will act as lead tanker operative in a two-person crew, performing descale, line cleaning and root cutting for below-ground drainage with confined space entry.

You will work alongside CCTV & Drainage teams on surveys, investigations, lining and rehabilitation projects, and assist with pump stations and waste disposal while responding to emergencies. A valid UK HGV Class 2 license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out descale works for below-ground drainage, line cleaning, root cutting, and confined space entry works.
• Emptying of external grease traps.
• Extensive tanker extraction works to foul and surface water systems/pump stations/petrol interceptors.
• Supporting Surveys, inspections and detailed investigations with CCTV & drainage teams.
• Assisting lining, patching and rehabilitation works.
• Supporting drainage teams with clearance and blockage works during emergencies.
• Picking up emergency tanker drainage callouts on a reactive basis.
• Supporting pumps teams with foul/surface water pump stations.
• Ensuring correct tipping and waste disposal procedures are followed.

HGV Drainage Engineer

The role will be lead tanker operative as part of a two-operative team in one tanker.

Joining the Remedials team will enable the operative to develop their knowledge with CCTV surveys, lining, pipe rehabilitation, extensive drainage investigation works, excavation and repairs etc.

Brief overview of role responsibilities

• Carrying out descale works for below ground drainage, line cleaning, root cutting, and confined space entry works.
• Emptying of external grease traps.
• Extensive tanker extraction works to Foul and Surface water systems/ Pump stations/ Petrol Interceptors
• Working alongside CCTV & Drainage teams supporting and facilitating Surveys, inspections and detailed investigation works which will involve fault finding and providing practical solutions to support the client's needs.
• Support specialist teams with lining, patching and rehabilitation works.
• Generally supporting drainage teams with clearance and blockage works should emergencies arise.
• Picking up emergency tanker drainage callouts on a reactive basis.
• Supporting pumps teams with Foul/Surface water pump station works.
• Ensure correct tipping and waste disposal procedures are followed and adhered to.
