Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Delivery Driver for Leicester, offering immediate starts and ongoing hours.

You will deliver food and drink to schools, care homes and restaurants, with 5:00–6:00 start times and 14:00–15:00 finishes. Permanent contracts possible after agency period. Weekly pay at £14.35 per hour.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C1/C entitlement.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Valid CPC card.
• Previous HGV driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• No DD, DR or TT conviction codes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drink products to customers such as schools, care homes and restaurants.
• Assist with loading and unloading.
• Complete vehicle checks and work with the team to ensure deliveries are made safely and on time.

HGV Delivery Drivers Wanted – Leicester

Are you an experienced HGV driver looking for steady delivery work Nationwide? This is a great opportunity to join a busy driving team, with immediate starts, ongoing work and the chance to work towards a permanent contract.

In this role, you will deliver food and drink products to customers such as schools, care homes and restaurants. The number of deliveries you will do per day will depend on the area that you are working in. It can be anything from 6-8 local school deliveries to reduce the bulk loads or up to 25 deliveries within a local post-coded area. A professional attitude, excellent timekeeping and strong customer service skills are important. You will also assist with loading and unloading, complete vehicle checks and work with the team to ensure deliveries are made safely and on time.

Duration: Full time hours, Early starts, early finishes, ongoing job security.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £14.35 per hour with weekly pay whilst through the agency.When you gain your permanent contract you will be on a salary plus company benefits.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday work with occasional Saturday’s. Start times from 05:00/06:00 usually finishing around 14:00/15:00.
