Are you a natural people leader who thrives on keeping things running smoothly? Do you love the idea of guiding a team, smashing targets and making transport compliance less… well, boring? Then we've got just the role for you!

We're on the lookout for a Team Leader to join our client's buzzing Operations Team. You'll be co-leading our Vehicle Compliance crew (around 20 brilliant people, each on different working terms) alongside another experienced Team Leader.

For the first 6 months, you'll be fully office-based (yes, 5 days a week - we want you immersed in the action!). After that, it's hybrid: Tuesday to Thursday in the office, with Monday and Friday from the comfort of home.

This is a permanent role with a salary of £40,000 plus a cracking benefits package.

Responsibilities:
  • Driving your team to hit those KPIs
  • Coaching, guiding and inspiring individuals to be the best they can be
  • Sharing your transport compliance know-how (O Licence, PMI, Tachograph Calibrations… the works)
  • Running performance reviews and annual appraisals like a pro
  • Building morale, recognising achievements and keeping your team motivated
  • Rolling up your sleeves, leading by example and living by the company's values every day
  • Being the go-to person for internal customers and making sure drivers have the very best experience
  • Representing the department in wider team meetings and managing exciting short and long-term projects
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience managing a large and diverse team
  • Solid knowledge of transport compliance (this one's essential!)
  • Experience dealing with customer care situations
  • CPC qualification would be a bonus - but not a dealbreaker
