Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

Location: Swindon

Salary: £19.27 p/h to £22.18 p/h

Pertemps, in partnership with the Royal Mail, is seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers for the Swindon site. We are looking for drivers to start immediately, with shifts available across the country.

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, after completing an assessment, you will trunk parcels and mail between depots across the Royal Mail Network. The role involves manual work, with shifts offered 1 week in advance. We offer competitive pay rates and various start times and days to suit different preferences. Flexibility to work weekends or shifts in the afternoon, evening, or night is preferred.

Entry Requirements:
  1. Held your licence for at least 2 years with no more than 5 penalty points. A clean licence is preferred, as exceeding 5 points may end the assignment.
  2. Minimum of 180 days driving experience within the last 2 years in relevant category for commercial use.
  3. No more than 10 infringements over a 12-month period, with no more than 6 in the same category over 6 months.
  4. Checking your Digi tacho before assessment is beneficial; manual entries on the Digi tacho are essential.
  5. No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
  6. Ability to clear a CRB security check following registration due to the client's business nature.
