Job description

Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

Location: Cardiff

Salary: £18.72 p/h to £21.63 p/h

Pertemps, in partnership with Royal Mail, is seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers for our Cardiff site. We are offering immediate start opportunities for drivers to trunk parcels and mail between depots across the Royal Mail Network. The role involves manual work, with shifts scheduled a week in advance.

We offer competitive pay rates, various start times, and flexible shifts, including weekends, afternoons, evenings, and nights. Candidates willing to accommodate different shifts are preferred.

Entry Requirements:

• Hold a valid driving licence for at least 2 years with no more than 5 penalty points (a clean licence is preferable).
• Have a minimum of 180 days of driving experience within the last 2 years in the relevant category for commercial use.
• Have no more than 10 infringements over the past 12 months, with no more than 6 in the same category over 6 months.
• Be able to check your Digi Tacho before assessment; manual entries on the Digi Tacho are essential.
• Have no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
• Be prepared to undergo a CRB security check after registration.
