Job summary

Solus, owned by Aviva, is seeking a dedicated HGV Class C Driver to collect and deliver vehicles before and after repair, working to deadlines to meet customer needs. Join a team of drivers reporting to the Transport Controller and help keep repairs moving smoothly.

You will handle cash/credit transactions, document vehicle condition, photograph damages, and ensure proper handover to customers, while maintaining accurate records and filing completed jobs.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, upbeat and committed to delivering the best repair service.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Experience driving HGV class 2 vehicles and within recovery is desirable.
• Very customer-focused with strong customer handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver cars within agreed timescales, ensuring best possible service and processing all payments per procedures.
• Complete forms to indicate damage, note accident-related damage and obtain customer signature.
• Highlight defects during loading/unloading and handover to Production Manager.
• Ensure all jobs are referenced and filed on completion.
