Job description

We are recruiting a HGV Class 2 driver for our Telford based client. The hours of work are between Monday to Friday. You must have a minimum of 2 years class 2 driving experience. The role would involve working in the warehouse / Factory as well when there is no collections to be done or if collections are finished early, so an FLT licence would be an advantage. Immediate start for the right candidate. A DBS check would be required for the position, which the company would take.


Paying £14.75ph


Role of Class 2 driver

Driving and Collections
  1. Carry out collections of electrical waste according to the daily schedule, Collections cover majority of the UK including but not limited to London, Cornwall and Wales.
  2. Safely load, secure, and transport goods to and from specified locations.
  3. Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, reporting any issues to management.
  4. Complete relevant delivery and collection paperwork accurately including waste documentation, counts, and scanning onto spreadsheets.
  5. Provide professional and courteous service to all customers during collections.

Warehouse / Factory Duties
  1. Assist with the breaking down of equipment for further recycling.
  2. Carry out shredding of various equipment such as boards and HDDs.
  3. Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch or delivery.
  4. Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment, adhering to safety standards.
  5. Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.

Working hours
  1. Working hours: 40, 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Overtime paid at a premium after 40 hours.
  2. Location: Telford
