A leading highways and infrastructure company in Exeter seeks a Skilled Skid Steer Planer Operator. The role requires an HGV Class 2 license and offers a salary range of £35,000-£40,000 per annum. Candidates must be team players with a commitment to health and safety. Experience in highway repairs is desirable but training will be provided for the right candidate. This position also offers opportunities to work across the UK.

An existing client with over 20 years of experience within highways and infrastructure is offering an opportunity to join a focused, expanding team.
CPCS/Npors Skid Steer Planer Operator or an HGV Class 2 holder with some plant experience required for a permanent role.
We are seeking an individual with experience or a qualification in Skid Steer operations, or an HGV operator with some plant experience, who would be willing to undertake the required training to operate the skid steer.
Our client is looking for a team player, an individual who is willing to work both locally and across the UK—someone who can join an existing team and integrate quickly with them.
Key Responsibilities:
Work as part of a team undertaking Highways repairs, ranging from Patching, Resurfacing, Potholes, Drainage, Footways, and General Highway Maintenance.
Drive/operate plant and equipment where trained
Take responsibility for vehicles/plant/materials in your charge.
Essential Skills:
Clean HGV driving License.
A commitment to Health and Safety.
Good communication skills with basic literacy and numeracy
Ability to undertake a high level of manual work and work outdoors in all weathers
CPCS or Npors Skid Steer qualification
CSCS Card
Desirable Skills:
Highway experience
HGV licence
The rate of pay is £35,000-£40,000 depending upon experience and qualifications.
