Job description

Join to apply for the HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver role at Dunnebier.

We are recruiting for our client who is currently seeking reliable and experienced Class 2 drivers with tail lift experience to support service delivery across Hinckley for refuse collection. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys a varied role and is confident driving larger vehicles.

The role is initially for 1 month.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving to planned collection locations
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation, including security and weight of load
• Supervising your team and ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up

Additional Info

• This role involves working standard weekday hours of 46.15 hours
• Must be flexible and able to travel locally to Hinckley
• Class C (Cat C) license required and some previous driving experience needed. If you're newly qualified, we also want to hear from you.
• Being a team player is key to ensuring the collections run smoothly with a can-do attitude
• Strong time management skills are required
