Job description

To operate and load recycling vehicles, with some days dedicated to loading vehicles instead of driving.

Work includes bank holidays and overtime as required.

Responsibilities involve driving waste vehicles around Torfaen and assisting with waste collection.

This role offers a starting pay of £15.47 after the initial 12-week period, with annual pay increments.

There is a good opportunity for a full-time position with the Authority if the placement is successful.

Experience:

Extensive experience and knowledge of waste and recycling collection activities and processes.

Experience in multi-point driving and waste & recycling collection duties.

Experience in customer service and awareness of personnel safety issues in a customer environment.

Knowledge of health and safety systems.
