Driver Hire Peterborough is currently recruiting reliable and professional HGV 7.5ton driver or Class 2 driver for ongoing Monday to Friday work, with a well-established client based in Yaxley. This role involves delivering refrigeration units to supermarkets as part of a two-man team and is perfect for drivers looking for consistent, full-time weekday work.

£14.50 per hour (PAYE) + Holiday Accrual or £16.25 per hour for advanced holidays.

Monday to Friday – Start times vary depending on delivery requirements, with night pay for early morning starts (£18.12 per hour (PAYE) + Holiday Accrual or £20.31 per hour for advanced holidays).

What We’re Looking For:

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Licence or 7.5t Licence
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum age 25 with no more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
• No DD, DR, or IN endorsements (insurance purposes)
• A professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach to your work
• Must be physically fit as the work involves a lot of handballing (lifting and pushing)
