Overview

Interaction Recruitment in Milton Keynes is looking for HGV Class 2 drivers for a highway maintenance contract based in Luton, Bedfordshire.

The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of driving experience.

The job is predominantly Monday to Friday, with Saturdays and Sundays available during peak periods, and flexibility to work some weekends is required.

Having a CSCS card would be advantageous, although the client is happy to provide this.

The typical workday starts at 07:00 and ends around 16:30.

The role involves driving a patching vehicle at slow speeds while the operator repairs potholes behind you. You will be able to watch the operator via CCTV from the cab and communicate through a buzzer system.

This role is solely driving; no maintenance work is expected from the driver.

We are seeking an ongoing driver to start on Tuesday, 22nd April, with work continuing until the end of the contract in October.

Pay rates are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday: £15 per hour
  • Saturday and Sunday: £20 per hour
