HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver - Temporary Role in Wisbech

Pure Staff is offering a fantastic opportunity for a qualified HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to work in Wisbech.

Position Details:

• Type: Temporary
• Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire
• Salary: Up to £16.50 per hour
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends if required

Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour (excluding holiday pay, which is paid separately)

Note: Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly umbrella margins or payroll processing fees.

Start Date: ASAP

Job Responsibilities:

• Fence and barrier deliveries
• Nationwide deliveries with 1-3 drops per day
• Manual handling and unloading using the crane
• Performing daily vehicle checks
• Maintaining professionalism when dealing with customers
• Completing assessments prior to work
• Wearing PPE such as safety boots and hi-vis clothing

Candidate Requirements:

• Class 2 HGV license with at least 6 months of driving experience
• HIAB license with Hook and Grab experience
• Minimum 12 months of relevant experience
• Valid CPC
• Clean driving license with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)

Start times are typically around 07:00 am. Shifts can last 10-12 hours, respecting tachograph laws.
