Job summary

GXO Logistics is recruiting a full-time, permanent HGV Class 2 HIAB driver to join the Sheffield home delivery team for Wickes. You will work 39 annualised hours per week, Monday to Friday, starting at 07:00 with occasional cover on Tue-Sat. DBS check may be required.

Salary is £30,723.50 per year plus a £1,920 bonus, with 25 days of annual leave, pension, and access to various employee perks via the Hapi App platform.

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement.
• HIAB licence (ALLMI or equivalent) advantageous but training provided.

HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Class 2 HIAB driver to join our home delivery team in Sheffield for our customer, Wickes.

You will be contracted to work 39 annualised hours per week, on a Monday to Friday schedule with 07:00 am start times, with occasional cover for annual leave or sickness on Tuesday to Saturday when required.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Responsible for the accurate, timely movement and delivery of our customers' products
• Providing excellent face to face customer service to customers
• As required, delivery of bulk items to customer homes using a class 2 HIAB vehicle from Wickes stores

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlement
• HIAB licence (ALLMI or equivalent) is advantageous but not necessary as training can be provided
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• Successful applicant will be subject to a DBS check
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
