Position Overview

Pertemps is currently recruiting on behalf of a highly respected builders merchants in St Albans for a qualified and customer-focused HGV Class 2 Driver with HIAB certification. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of construction materials, while upholding a strong standard of professionalism and service on every delivery route.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver products safely and efficiently, complying with road safety and transport regulations
• Operate the HIAB crane with skill and care for loading/unloading
• Provide courteous, professional customer service at all times
• Build rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients on-site
• Prevent damage or loss to both products and vehicle
• Report health and safety issues promptly and accurately

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
• HIAB Licence (essential)
• Previous experience in the builders merchants or construction supply industry (essential)
