Job summary

Blue Arrow in Bridgend is recruiting reliable HGV Class 2 drivers for immediate start on temporary assignments across South Wales. You will join a dedicated driving team, enjoy flexible work patterns, and benefit from competitive pay and ongoing opportunities.

Pay starts at £16.61 per hour with 2:00pm–10:00pm shifts. To apply, you must hold a HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card; licences with more than six penalty points are not accepted.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Licence with more than 6 penalty points not accepted.
• DR endorsements will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-departure vehicle safety checks.

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for temporary assignments based in Bridgend, with excellent opportunities for ongoing work for the right candidates.

We work with a wide range of clients across South Wales, offering flexible work patterns, competitive pay rates, and the support of a dedicated driving team.

Pay Rate: From £16.61 per hour

Shift Times: 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Location: Bridgend

Key Responsibilities

As an HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driver, your duties will include:

Carrying out pre-departure vehicle safety checks

Transporting goods between designated depots and delivery sites

Completing all required paperwork accurately and on time

Ensuring compliance with transport regulations and company procedures

Adhering to tachograph and drivers' hours regulations

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

A valid Driver CPC qualification

A valid Digital Tachograph Card
