Job summary

Merchants Transport Limited invites applications for a Heavy Goods Vehicle Class 2 driver with a HIAB crane. Based in Stoney Stanton, you will drive UK-wide routes, delivering to merchants and construction sites, Monday to Friday, 45–50 hours per week.

The role requires a Class 2 licence with HIAB, CPC, and Digital tachograph cards, plus at least two years LGV experience and clean license (≤6 points). Training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (C) driving licence with HIAB vehicle-mounted crane.
• Minimum 2 years experience driving LGV with no more than 6 points.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph cards valid.
• Able to work 45–50 hours per week Monday to Friday.
• Experience delivering to building sites and construction projects.
• UK road network knowledge and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to merchants, building sites and customer locations.
• Operate vehicle mounted crane (HIAB) and secure loads.
• Maintain safe driving and adhere to regulations.
• Flexible schedule with varying daily routes.
