Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking HGV Class 2 drivers for ongoing opportunities in Daventry. Roles involve handling pre-loaded vehicles, ensuring secure loads, and completing delivery paperwork with adherence to UK hours rules.

Shifts start early (05:00–07:00) with minimum 8-hour days and no weekend work; temp-to-perm opportunities are available for the right candidates with full driving duties and on-time performance expectations.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence required.
• Commitment to regular shifts/rosters.
• Ability to work safely alone.
• Good time management and punctuality.
• Knowledge of UK drivers' hours regulations.

Responsibilities

• Pre-loaded vehicles and secure loads with proper strapping.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Perform vehicle checks and basic safety routines.
• Adhere to shift patterns with no more than 6 points on licence.
