Job summary

The Staffing Network is recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 waste and recycling drivers for our client based in Bridgwater & Yate, Avon. The role involves kerbside collections, both driving and loading, with outdoors work in all weather. NEW PASS WELCOME and ongoing temp-to-perm opportunities.

Responsibilities include safe driving, loading, daily checks, and customer service. A physically fit applicant with a flexible approach will fit well within this team.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence required.
• Previous experience in waste/recycling collection desirable.
• Physical fitness for outdoor hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Drive a HGV 2 vehicle safely and efficiently on collection routes.
• Load and unload household waste and recycling materials.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Follow all Health & Safety and company procedures.
• Provide excellent service to customers and the community.
