Job summary

Workforce Recruitment and Training is hiring a HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver for a temp-to-perm role in Newent. You will deliver products across England, driving a range of vehicles from 3.5 to 18 tonnes with early starts from 3am.

Expect up to 50 hours per week and overtime at 1.33x after 45 hours. The ideal candidate holds a valid CPC and Tachograph card, has delivery driving experience, and can manage long motorway routes with physical stamina and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous delivery driving experience.
• Good knowledge of UK motorway networks.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable, professional and flexible.
• Own transport due to the location and early start times.

Responsibilities

• Delivering products across England.
• Driving a mix of 18-tonne HGVs, 7.5-tonne lorries and 3.5-tonne vans.
• Early starts from 3am onwards.
• Up to 50 hours per week.
• Overtime paid at 1.33x after 45 hours.
