HGV Class 2 driver Temp to Perm

Temp to Perm position.

We are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join our growing team. Work will involve mutidrop using a tail lift when needed and some possible handball. Whether you are a Class 2 driver that wants to work 1-day, all week, or various days to suit your home/work life balance, we want to hear from you.

HGV Class 2 Driver will need:

• Cat-C Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's)
• Experience with ratchet straps
• Experience in a fast-paced multi-drop environment
• Excellent customer service skills and good literacy
• Full UK Driving licence, Class 2 entitlement held for a minimum of 2 years.
• Able to work to tight deadlines

HGV Class 2 Driver Duties will include:

• Driving company vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws
• Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance
• Maintaining regular contact with the traffic office on daily progress
• Completing paperwork accurately as instructed
• Dealing with customers face to face in a polite and courteous manner

GBP16 p/h for the first eight hours, GBP20 overtime.(45min break will be deducted per day)
