Drivers Today in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for ongoing multi-drop pallet distribution work. The role involves driving curtain-sided rigid vehicles and delivering to commercial customers with a focus on reliability and professional service.

Pay is £17.00 per hour PAYE including holiday pay, LTD welcome, Monday to Friday day shifts, with ongoing work and potential for temp-to-perm opportunities. Weekly pay and a supportive recruitment team are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV Class 2 multi-drop experience preferred.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and road safety regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Driving HGV Class 2 (Category C) rigid vehicles.
• Multi-drop pallet distribution and collections.
• Operating curtain-sided vehicles.
• Safely securing loads and checking goods.
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks.
• Following planned delivery routes.
