Job Description

Are you an experienced Porter/Driver with a Full Class 2 Driving License seeking a new role in a company with nearly 150 years of experience in the logistics and removals sector?

Due to continued growth, we're looking for a Class 2 Driver who is hardworking and resilient, as you'll be delivering and loading/unloading a range of goods from furniture to high-value artwork. You'll be part of a team delivering a premium service, ensuring the safe journey of our clients' valued items and supporting your colleagues.

Requirements

Enhanced Criminal Record Check

Skills, Qualifications, and Licences

• HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (essential)
• Team leading and/or supervisory experience (preferred)
• CSCS Green Card (preferred)
• Knowledge of established legal tachograph procedures (essential)
• ADR Packages (preferred)

Daily Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle daily checks of your allocated HGV Class 2/7.5t/3.5t vehicle
• Ensure the vehicle is equipped with all relevant specialist equipment required for daily operations
• Lift and pack a range of items including office furniture, soft furnishings, hardware, and fine art
• Manage goods in and out of storage
• Lift and move loads exceeding 25kg
• Maintain high standards on-site
• Take responsibility for your health and safety and that of colleagues
• Deliver excellent customer care and service
• Work as part of a team during larger specialist projects, including laboratory and executive office relocations
• Comply with all company and health and safety procedures

As a Class 2 Driver, you'll start with a daily rate of £130-£140 depending on experience. Benefits include incentives, Employee Discount Scheme, Healthcare, Death in Service cover after 3 months, and 23+8 days of holiday.
