Job Description:

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and industry-leading client based in Plymouth. We are seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) for part-time roles.

Shifts: Part-time hours, typically Monday, Friday, and Saturday, with additional shifts available during the week.

Hours: 01:00-04:00 starts.

Location: Plymouth, PL6.

Job Type: Ongoing, with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

The role includes:

• Transporting palletized parcels to and from depots and delivery units.
• Handling runs with 1-5 stops, focusing on safe driving and accurate paperwork.
• Using tail lift and pump truck equipment for loading/unloading.
• Interacting professionally with customers.
• Refueling and maintaining the vehicle at the end of shifts.
• Completing safety and operational assessments, followed by paid training if successful.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving license with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on license (minor offences only).
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck.
