Job summary

Flat Fee Recruiter is helping our client fill a key HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver role in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. You will ensure safe deliveries across pallet and bulk networks, including pumping bulk products into customer tanks, while following hours and tachograph rules.

The position is full-time and permanent with a starting pay of £14.04 per hour, night shift enhancements, and opportunities for overnight stays. Night-out allowances, training and a pension scheme are included.

Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class 2 licence is essential.
• A valid Driver CPC is essential.
• Manual handling qualifications or experience are essential.
• A Forklift Truck licence is desirable.
• Full compliance with all applicable current ADR regulations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries and collections across pallet and bulk distribution networks.
• Pumping bulk products into customer storage tanks where required.
• Deliver and collect IBCs and small packed goods, loading and unloading vehicles safely.
• Comply with drivers' hours, tachograph and road traffic legislation, completing all delivery documentation.
• Complete daily vehicle safety equipment checks and defect sheets.
• Report road traffic accidents, property damage, or discrepancies at loading or delivery.
• Assist with night work, overnight stays, and support at Scotland depot.
