HGV Class 2 Driver - Newry Area (Immediate Start)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an award-winning independent wholesale company for an immediate start in the Newry area. This role is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, providing an excellent opportunity for long-term employment.

Working Hours & Remuneration:

• Monday to Friday


• 05:30 start - finish (guaranteed 8-hour day)


• £16.89 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)


• Overtime available after 45 hours, paid at time and a half

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading goods efficiently and safely


• Multi-drop deliveries across Northern and Southern Ireland


• Direct customer interaction, ensuring professional service


• Secure transportation of goods using cage and pallet systems


• Daily vehicle checks to maintain roadworthiness

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (clean record)


• Up-to-date Digital Tachograph Card & CPC Card


• Experience handling 8-10 deliveries per day


• Strong knowledge of regional road networks
