Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers in Rochdale. This role offers full training, excellent pay, and ongoing support. It is suitable for new pass or experienced drivers seeking stability and progression.

Role requires LGV Class 2 or equivalent experience, with shifts Mon-Fri, early starts, and competitive hourly rates. Full training provided and long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Category C Licence.
• A valid UK CPC Card.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than six penalty points (no IN, DR, DD or CD).
• Reliable, professional, and punctual.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with a Driver's Mate for multi-drop deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating and driving Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations.
• Delivering products depot to depot.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Adhering to all traffic laws and road safety regulations.
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork.
• Communicating effectively with dispatch teams, customers, and site staff.
