HGV Class 2 Driver / Drainage Engineer

Are you looking for a stable, rewarding career with an expanding highways and drainage contractor? Vector is excited to represent our client, who is seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers and HGV Drainage Engineers, to join their team near Kings Langley.

The Role: HGV Class 2 Driver / Drainage Engineer
Starting on a temporary contract, this role has the potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate various HGV Class 2 drainage vehicles, including Vacuum Tankers, Liquid Waste Tankers and Combi Units.
• Work closely with a skilled operative to assist in the operation of machinery for the clearance and maintenance of surface water and foul water drainage systems.
• You will be working for a variety of customers including commercial, domestic and water boards, maintaining their drainage network.

Shift Patterns

• Day Shift– 06:00 - 16:00
• Night Shift– 17:00 - 03:00
• Exact start and finish times will vary due to the nature of the work

Pay Rates

• Days– £14 - £14.41 per hour (PAYE) depending on experience
• Nights- £17.50 - £18.01 per hour (PAYE) depending on experience

Requirements

• HGV Class 2 Licence with valid CPC.
• New pass drivers welcome to apply, previous drainage experience would be beneficial.
