Job description

Job Title: Class 2 Driver - HGV - Cat C

Location: Salford

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to fulfil an ongoing contract in Salford. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing 16+ shop deliveries per day so proven multi drop experience is a must. All pallet way contracts using tail lifts and pump trucks to make deliveries. This role requires a high level of professionalism and customer service. Initially the role will be to cover sickness and holidays cover. Due to the insurance criteria applicants need to have held their license for 12 months and have no more than 6 points on license

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently deliver goods to various shop locations.


• Ensure timely deliveries and maintain a high standard of customer service.


• Perform vehicle checks and report any issues.


• Maintain accurate delivery records.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 driving license.


• Referenceable 6 months experience in a similar role.


• Ability to provide two work-related references.


• Strong communication and organizational skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
