Job summary

Venus Wine and Spirit Merchants Ltd is seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver to ensure safe, on-time delivery of goods and accurate paperwork. You may also pick stock from the warehouse and perform routine warehouse tasks.

Strong route planning, load security, and customer service are essential. Responsibilities include multi-drop deliveries to customer sites, documentation, and returns processing, with a focus on safety and efficiency in a UK-wide distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Clean driving licence and digital tachograph card are required.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries is essential.
• Must be physically fit for heavy lifting and loading/unloading.
• Good safety awareness and ability to complete records correctly.
• Reliable and able to work independently with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan delivery schedules and routes with transport managers.
• Secure loads and ensure safe transit and accurate documentation.
• Carry out loading/unloading and general warehouse tasks as needed.
• Deliver to customer premises, verify deliveries and manage returns.
• Maintain good geographic knowledge of the local area and routes.
