Job summary

Class 1 Personnel is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to work with a national client based in Bedford. You will complete multi-drop deliveries to customers, unload and deliver goods to customer premises, and provide excellent customer service on every route.

Open to newly qualified drivers, this ongoing temporary role offers Monday to Friday work and hands-on experience in the transport industry, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC card.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no driving bans.
• Good physical fitness for manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to customers along your allocated route.
• Safely unloading and delivering goods into customers' premises, including handballing.
• Drive safely and follow road safety legislation and company procedures.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Manage your route to ensure timely deliveries.
• Use correct equipment and PPE.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at every delivery.
