Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for aHGV Class 2 Driverto join our successful client based in the Lincoln LN5 area.

HGV Class 2 Driver - Duties & Responsibilities

The right person will be responsible for driving the refuse collection lorry and collecting/emptying food bins from residential and commercial premises.

A minimum of 90 days experience within the last 6 months on HGV Class 2 driving is essential.

• Drive and operate a class 2 refuse lorry,
• Collect food wate from a different local area each day of the week
• Emptying food waste bins around Lincolnshire
• Some heavy lifting involved
• Maintain awareness of other vehicles or people on the road and operate the lorry safely
• One-person team

HGV Class 2 Driver - Person Specification

• UK HGV Class 2 driving license (minimum 6 months)
• Digital tachograph card & CPC card
• Ability to provide a professional waste management service to residential customers
• Excellent, professional work ethic
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage.
