Job summary

Conquip Engineering Group is seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Delivery Driver to join the Hampshire depot team. This permanent role involves 10-hour shifts from early morning, with occasional overnight stays, delivering Conquip products and upholding professional standards.

The role reports to the Depot Manager and requires safe driving, compliance with tachograph rules, and a strong customer-focused mindset to ensure on-time deliveries and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 HGV licence.
• Proven delivery experience, including driving within London.
• Strong teamworking and communication skills.
• Ability to comply fully with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Positive feedback from managers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect Conquip products professionally, efficiently and punctually.
• Liaise with the Transport Manager to maintain a customer-focused approach at all times.
• Communicate proactively with the office and customers to ensure, or exceed, on-time deliveries.
• Adhere strictly to all relevant legislation, including tachograph and DSA driving standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional image of the Conquip brand with all customers.
• Ensure your vehicle is well-maintained and compliant with all safety and legal requirements.
