Job summary

Travis Perkins in the United Kingdom is seeking a Class 2 HGV driver for our Wincanton branch. You will deliver building materials to local customers, handle HIAB loading, and ensure loads are secure and compliant. Typical day is 7am–4pm, with alternating Saturdays; no evenings or overnights.

You will hold a Class 2 licence with 12+ months experience and CPC records; HIAB training is funded by the branch. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence with 12+ months experience.
• Up-to-date CPC records are required.
• HIAB experience or willingness to train will be funded by the branch.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials from the branch to local customers, ensuring loads are secure and compliant.
• Load HIAB, check it is properly packed and legal, then hit the road.
• Complete around 14 drops per day and reload at the branch as needed.
