Job summary

Travis Perkins in London (Palmers Green) seeks a Class 2 HGV Driver. This full-time role offers no evenings or overnights, with HIAB training provided. You will deliver building materials, load and secure HIAB loads, and complete around 14 drops daily before returning to the branch for reloads.

You’ll be the branch’s on-road face, maintaining professionalism and safety while building strong customer relationships. Training and progression are encouraged within a large network.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class 2 driving licence and up-to-date CPC records.
• Held a Category B licence for 12+ months.
• HIAB experience preferred; HIAB training funded if needed.
• Customer-focused and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials from the branch to local customers, ensuring loads are safe and compliant with regulations.
• Load HIAB, verify everything is packed correctly, and drive to customer sites.
• Make around 14 drops per day and return to the branch to reload as needed.
