Job Description:

Berry Recruitment is looking for 2 HGV Class 2 Drivers for our well-established client based in Haywards Heath.

Hours: To be confirmed

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Location: Mid Sussex

As a HGV Driver within refuse collection, your responsibilities include:

• Carrying out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job.
• Undertaking all duties professionally, employing safe lifting and handling techniques.
• Using in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed.
• Completing relevant paperwork in real time.
• Performing daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles before and after use.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
• Maintaining excellent customer and client relations, especially with the public and other road users.

Requirements:

• A valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.
• A driver CPC.
• Willingness to assist refuse loaders during rounds to help complete routes within service level agreements.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and willing to undertake various tasks.
