QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 drivers for a Chesterfield-based operation with nationwide UK deliveries. The role offers a permanent path from temp to perm, with shifts Monday to Friday starting between 05:00 and 07:00, and occasional nights out.

Pay is £16.00 per hour with overtime at £21.85 after 40 hours per week. Deliveries vary from 4 to 8 daily, and job duties include vehicle safety checks and accurate paperwork, contributing to a professional service.

Formación

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
• A current Driver CPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• A minimum of 12 months' Class 2 driving experience.
• Solid commercial driving background with the ability to work confidently and efficiently from day one.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver goods to builders' merchants, construction sites, and commercial customers across the UK.
• Operate curtain-sided vehicles and complete deliveries to schedule.
• Assist with unloading by opening and securing vehicle curtains when required.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and comply with transport regulations.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately and present a professional service.
