Job summary

The Best Connection is looking for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our school meal delivery team in Medway. You will work Mon-Fri with early starts (5:00am or 6:00am) finishing around 2:00pm–3:00pm, delivering frozen meals to schools across Kent and London outskirts.

No heavy lifting; vehicles pre-loaded and training provided. Reliable, professional drivers with clean licences and tachograph cards preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 penalty points.
• Reliable and professional approach.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen, cage-loaded meals to schools.
• No more than 8 drops per day.
• Full induction and route training provided; you will go out with another driver.
• Routes go across Kent, outskirts of London and coastal areas.
• NO Central London driving; outskirts of London only.
• Vehicles are pre-loaded and ready to go.
• No heavy lifting or handballing; roll cages on and off the vehicle.
