Job summary

Driver Hire Colchester & Sudbury is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 driver to join the team as a Drayman. You will be responsible for safe, timely delivery of goods across local routes with strong customer service and care for the vehicle and products.

Fully trained drivers will be supported with flexible start times, weekly pay, and ongoing temp/perm opportunities. Prior dray experience is welcome but not essential as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Full, valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• CPC & Digital tachograph card essential.
• Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Previous dray/delivery experience preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely and on time on local routes.
• Provide excellent customer service on every delivery.
• Maintain vehicle and products in good condition and report issues.
• Follow road safety and company policies at all times.
