Vector Recruitment Solutions Ltd is actively seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver – Drainage Vehicle for a role in the Staveley, Chesterfield area. The position involves operating specialist drainage equipment as part of a two-person crew to maintain highway drainage systems.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence, a hands-on approach, and a strong focus on safety. You will join a team delivering reliable hours and potential for permanent employment within an infrastructure contractor

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate HGV Class 2 vehicles, including 18-tonne Vacuum Tankers and Combination Units.

• Assist with the clearance, cleaning and maintenance of highway drainage systems.
• Support the safe operation of specialist drainage equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

HGV Class 2 Driver – Drainage Vehicle
Location: Staveley, Chesterfield
Salary (days) : £15.81 – £17.80 per hour (PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay)
Salary (nights) : £19.80 – £22.25 per hour (PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am - 4pm or 4pm - 2am (50 hours per week)
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of a leading infrastructure contractor operating near Staveley, Chesterfield.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining HGV driving with specialist drainage maintenance across the highways network. You'll work as part of a two-person crew, operating specialist vehicles and equipment to help keep essential drainage systems working effectively.
This role offers strong earning potential alongside the opportunity to move into permanent employment.

The Role

What's on Offer?

• Day Shift - £15.81 – £17.80 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay.Night Shift - £19.80 - £22.25 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay.Candidates can apply for full time days or nights.
• 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Weekend overtime opportunities for additional earnings.
