Job summary

Recruitable Staffing Solutions is recruiting Class 2 Day Drivers for pallet network deliveries and collections based in Eccles, Norwich. The role is predominantly days with occasional nights out, and includes on-site driver training and support.

Key responsibilities include loading/unloading, paperwork checks, ensuring security of loads, and maintaining a high standard of customer service at sites across the network.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C licence and Driver CPC.
• Digital tachograph card required.
• No more than six penalty points.
• Reliable approach and good customer service skills.
• Availability to work 4 on / 4 off including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Completing deliveries and collections of palletised goods.
• Checking freight against delivery and collection paperwork.
• Ensuring loads are secure and reporting damage or discrepancies.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Keeping the transport team informed of progress and delays.
• Providing a professional service at customer sites.
