Job summary

Recruitable Staffing Solutions is recruiting HGV Class 2 Day Drivers for pallet network deliveries and collections based in Eccles, Norwich.

The role is predominantly days, with a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern. Pay is £14.80 per hour PAYE (holiday pay accrued separately) or £16.82 per hour with rolled-up holiday pay. New passes welcome, with an onsite driver trainer and support available to develop your experience within a busy transport operation.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C licence, Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• No more than six penalty points on licence.
• No IN, DD, DR, DG or similar serious endorsements.
• Reliable and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Completing deliveries and collections of palletised goods.
• Checking freight against delivery and collection paperwork.
• Ensuring loads are secure and reporting damage or discrepancies.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Keeping the transport team informed of progress and delays.
• Providing a professional service at customer sites.
