Job description

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Dartford area. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, day shift (8-12 hour shift average)

Job Type:

Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.

The role:

• Conduct up to 12 collections or deliveries per day.
• Utilise an 18-tonne vehicle for multi-drop operations.
• Use a pump truck and tail lift daily.
• Adhere to customer requests and delivery schedules.
• Ensure the safe and secure loading and unloading of goods.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the Class 2 vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Have at least 1 year of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Discounts at hundreds of high-street stores and supermarkets.
