Job summary

Kingston Barnes Industrial is seeking HGV Class 2 drivers for a temp-to-perm role in Avonmouth. Earn £17.75 per hour with a guaranteed minimum of 48 paid hours per week, Monday–Friday starts between 04:00 and 06:00. Role involves double-manned deliveries with a Driver's Mate, heavy lifting, and 10–12 hour shifts.

Temp-to-perm pathway and ongoing work available. Newly passed drivers are welcome to apply. Inductions and assessments are available ASAP to get you started in a stable, long-term

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence is required.
• Newly passed drivers accepted.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Must be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
• Comfortable getting in and out of the lorry multiple times per day.
• Reliable and professional approach.
• Good customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries: double-manned with Driver's Mate; 5–10 drops per shift.
• Shifts are typically 10–12 hours, Monday to Friday.
• Frequent vehicle entry/exit and heavy lifting throughout the day.
• Induction and assessment available ASAP.
• Ongoing work with temp-to-perm pathway.
