Job summary

CareerMakers Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a long-term temp-to-perm role based in WF17. You will perform multi-drop deliveries to restaurants and hospitality venues, with 10-hour shifts and 4-on/4-off pattern.

Safety and efficiency are essential, with weekly pay and ongoing opportunities to secure a permanent position. Requirements include 24+ months Class 2 experience, valid Cat C, CPC, and Tachograph cards, plus strong time management and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months' HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Physically fit for heavy manual handling and handball deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 812 multi-drop deliveries per shift to restaurants and hospitality venues.
• Carry out heavy manual handling and handball deliveries.
• Drive vehicles from 7.5T to 26T and perform daily vehicle safety checks.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and follow safety procedures.
• Provide professional customer service at delivery points.
