Job summary

A leading transport firm is seeking a dedicated HGV Class 2 Driver for a Temp to Perm position in the Wickham area. You will deliver materials across Hampshire, operate a HIAB crane, and ensure excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and a valid Class 2 licence, with at least two years of driving experience. This role offers long-term stability and potential training for additional certifications.

Qualifications

• Authorised to work in the UK.

Your responsibilities as an HGV Class 2 Driver:

• Delivering materials to various locations across Hampshire using a HGV.
• Operating the HIAB crane safely and efficiently, ensuring proper loading and unloading of materials.
• Maintaining excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
• Ensuring your vehicle is clean and the paperwork is completed.
• Demonstrating strong knowledge of the Dorset area and road network.

What were looking for:

• Valid Category C/Class 2 Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card.
• HIAB/Lorry Mounted Loader Certificate is desirable but full training but will be given to the right candidate.
• Clean driving record (no more than 6 points, no DD/DR in the last 5 years).
• Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Authorised to work in the UK.
• Own transportation (public transport may not be reliable).

Desired Qualifications:

• HIAB/Lorry Mounted Loader Certificate is desirable but full training but will be given to the right candidate.
